DRIVE-IN FILM FESTIVAL
and the Festival Of Animated Objects for our first DRIVE-IN FILM FESTIVAL! We had sold out shows on April 2 and 3rd. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen and who came out to see the flicks!
St. Patrick's Day
Another great light display celebrating St. Patrick's Day this past March! Thanks to Leo Wieser and Lori Stuart for setting these up, the board members who turned the lights on and off, and to Geoff Murray/Brisket Case, Gary Stuart, Because I Said So, MTM Equipment, Bleeding Art Industries, and Power Productions for their support in time, money and materials to help make this happen.
We hope you enjoyed the lighting and snowflakes projected on the sides of the grain elevators in December. Thanks to Geoff Murray, Lori Stuart, and Gary Stuart for their assistance, and sponsors Brisket Case, the Nanton & District Chamber of Commerce, MTM Equipment, Georgie's Cafe, Power Productions, Bleeding Art Industries, and Alberta Marine for their support of this year's lighting event.
We showed our love for Nanton by using the orange elevatora as our canvas, lighting it with multiple little hearts for Valentine's Day. Thanks to Lori Stuart, Leo Wieser, MTM Equipment, Power Productions, and Bleeding Art Industries for their support of the Valentine's Day lighting. We hope it cheered up travelers coming through and Nantonites who had a chance to go see them. If they warmed your heart, please consider donating. Even a small amount helps go towards the cost of putting on these lighting displays for the community.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see the classic silent film NOSFERATU projected on the green elevator on Halloween! Special thanks also go to the Town of Nanton, Stuthornes, Raffin Transit Mix, euroPRODUCTIONS, Quickdraw Animation Society, Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF), and Dependable Dad's Downsizing Services.
