Why Attend?
The Canadian Grain Elevator Discovery Centre is home to three original 19th-century wood crib grain elevators — among the last of their kind in North America. Our work preserves not just buildings, but the stories of the farmers, families, and communities that built southern Alberta around the grain trade.
At the AGM you'll hear:
Year-end reports on preservation progress and milestones
Upcoming plans for restoration, education, and visitor programming
Financial overview and fundraising goals
A chance to vote on bylaws and elect board members
Opportunities to get involved as a volunteer or member
Whether you're a lifelong Nanton resident, a heritage enthusiast, or someone who simply believes these landmarks deserve to stand for another hundred years — you belong at this table.
Membership
New and renewing memberships are available online at nantongraineelevators.com or at the door on the evening of the meeting. Your membership funds the ongoing conservation work that keeps these elevators safe for generations to come.
Getting There
The Nanton Quality of Life Foundation Building is located beside the Bomber Command Museum of Canada and the Nanton Community Memorial Centre on Highway #2 Southbound. Parking is available on-site.
